Meet Brett & Janelle
From a Family Farm to a Place for Everyone
It all started in July 2018 when we purchased a farm just down the road from where we live. Brett had always dreamed of having a pond, and this felt like the perfect place to make it happen. So the excavation began! The pond filled up quickly, and by the summer of 2019 we were out there enjoying it.
Then Covid hit. While many of our friends bought campers, we turned the pond into our own version of a campground. It honestly felt more like a summer camp, and we loved every minute of it.
Those gatherings with friends and family planted a seed. We started talking, dreaming, and eventually planning a building where the people we loved could always come together. And just like that, The Gathering Place was born.
